Darwin's Waiting Room is a group of directors, writers and performers based out of the New Hampshire Seacoast who deliver high quality scripted comedy created for general audiences. We offer opportunities for personal and professional growth through the creative process. Our goal is to make people feel good through the power of laughter and build community around fun and exciting events, productions and other creative endeavors.

Producers Eric Doucet and Julia Doucett, (that’s not a typo, they aren’t related), have formed a crew of highly talented actors who are eager to take the stage and entertain audiences. Their comic shorts are equal parts strange, quirky, and relatable. A restaurant without tables and food? A meeting about meetings? The glorious tributes given to Emperor Kestro Delipantsia by the ambassadors of the Silly Provinces? Take a seat inside of DARWiN’S WAiTiNG ROOM.

Camp Darwin

Audition for our upcoming season at: CAMP DARWiN’S

DARWiN’S WAiTiNG ROOM wants YOU. To help us create theatre magic and perform with us at upcoming shows! This is an annual event open to anyone and everyone to learn about who we are and what we do. You will get to meet and play theatre games with past, present, and future members of the DARWiN’S collective.

PLEASE NOTE: Participation in this event is required if you have never read with us, and want to be eligible to participate in future script readings and auditions for specific shows. Participation is not required, but is strongly encouraged, for anyone who has already been to script readings and wants to participate as an actor, writer, director in upcoming shows.
