These recipes come from our co-producer’s boyfriend’s mother’s Midwestern family’s cookbook. So you know they’re good!
Seasoned Goldfish:
- 18 oz goldfish crackers
- 1 pkg ranch seasoning mix
- 3 tsp dill weed
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp lemon pepper seasoning
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- ⅔ cup vegetable oil
Put crackers in large bowl. Whisk seasonings in with oil. Drizzle over crackers and stir to coat completely. Transfer to 2 uncreased 10x15 baking sheets. Bake @ 250o for 15-20 minutes, stirring twice. Store airtight after cooled.
Peanut Butter Balls:
- ½ cup butter, melted
- 2 cups chunky peanut butter
- 3 cups Rice Krispies
- 3-½ cups powdered sugar
- 24 oz chocolate chips
- 2 cups chocolate almond bark
Combine butter, peanut butter, cereal, and powdered sugar. Form into balls. Melt chocolate chips and bark in microwave. Dip peanut butter balls into chocolate and set on wax paper to harden.
